Made from heavy
duty materials, you simply place it under the car and attach the pipe to the
exhaust. The gases from the exhaust will inflate the bag and the car
will lift up.

We have put a couple of videos at the bottom of the page that shows an
inflatable exhaust air jack in action. You can really see just how
easy and quick it is to use.
It would be really unsafe to use your normal car jack on an uneven surface.
Whether you use the jack that was supplied with the car or a trolley jack,
you can only use them on a flat surface so that they don't move or collapse.
But with an exhaust air jack this is not a problem. The inflatable
jack can be used on almost any surface and the car will be stable once it
has been lifted.
Can you imagine trying to use a normal car jack on grass - impossible, and
this could leave you stranded. An
inflatable air jack won't sink into the soft grass / ground like a normal
car jack.
We did a search on the web and
this looks to be the cheapest place to buy
one of these car jacks at the moment. At the time of writing
(23/04/08), the price was just over £40, made by Draper which is quite a
well known brand.
Draper 61432 and its the 3 tonne version, and it comes
with free delivery (UK).

Other brands that are available are the Bushranger x-jack, Titan exhaust air
jack and the Takla power air jack but none of these seem to be available in
the UK.
